Man will strip the world of all its beauty in pursuit of money and power. We are blessed to live in such a beautiful country, lets keep it that way. The Forest Service should keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is. Do not weaken or repeal this critical policy. National forests are the heart of our public lands. The Roadless Area Conservation Rule protects some of the wildest forests we have left, forests that protect critical wildlife habitat and drinking water for millions. Revoking the Roadless Rule puts landscapes, wildlife, and communities at risk. Not only is the Roadless Rule good policy, it's also wildly popular across the country, with over 600,000 people submitting comments to the US Forest Service last year in support of keeping the rule in place. And more than 20 years ago, the American people overwhelmingly called for our national forests to be protected for future generations. Revoking the Roadless Rule would destroy the natural inheritance we leave for our children.

Our forests and our children need the Roadless Rule created by the Forest Service because it was ecologically critical, fiscally responsible, and overwhelmingly popular. Without it our forests will be more vulnerable to fire and disease and our children will not get the chance to see or experience the benefits of old growth, including cleaner air and water streams. Once it's gone there's no turning back. The Forest Service should keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is. Do not weaken or repeal this critical policy. The roadless rule is a form of respect, to nature, to living organisms, and to our fellow inhabitants of Earth. Not only is the Roadless Rule useful and necessary in so many ways but its also simply the right thing to do. The Forest Service should keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is. I recreate in National forests regularly. It would be a travesty to see land that's been protected go to logging and mining at a time when we need conservation efforts the most. I am adamantly opposed to rescinding the roadless rule. We humans have carved the world up into tiny islands with each road we build and this has contributed in major ways to habitat loss and species extinction. We need to preserve our national forests for many reasons but most importantly for the species who need wide open spaces hunt and thrive. Please do NOT rescind this important rule and prioritize the greed and profit of a small minority of the wealthy over protecting wild spaces and the species who call those spaces home. The Forest Service should keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is. Do not weaken or repeal this critical policy. National forests are the heart of our public lands. I work in park city. If the 1% keep doing this, park city will die. We will lose the winter Olympics and then summer. All of the recreation industry will die due to global warming. Which is one of the largest tourist industries out there. Millions will lose their jobs including me. This administration has done nothing to help this country. They are only here to take whatever they can stuff in their pockets and run to lands that will help them hide and preserve the money they've stolen from us. Taking public lands for a payday or to place a monument or rename one after yourself are egregious acts and not thought possible before this administration but here we are! I vote for normalacy! As a senior in my mid-70s, I've valued and enjoyed our critical wild areas since I was a teenager. The roadless rule is probably the single most critical element of managing these priceless wilderness areas. All of the stated reasons for opening wilderness areas to roads ring hollow, and merely provide cover for development and money grabs, They do nothing to enhance of protect these irreplaceable public lands - PUBLIC lands - not for profit. Manage these lands for future generations, not for current gains. The Forest Service should keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is. Do not weaken or repeal this critical policy. The roadless rule is so important to many across the united states. Not only to we the people but to the birds, the bees, and the trees that are NECESSARY for life on this Earth. Please act your the future generations that this rule is NOT one to repeal. I plead you to think of more than just how you can further grift from this presidency. We as a nation have chosen a path of sustainability and preservation of what wild areas we have remaining. This administration is out of step with the American people and our continued existence on this planet. I love our country. We must preserve what makes America great--Our Magnificent Wild Spaces! Keep the Roadless Rule intact! America must continue to protect our wilderness from corporate greed and destruction. The great leaders of our past set up and honored these protections and even continued to expand upon them. Without it you take away peoples connection to nature and force them to live in razed down planes that cant support various species that make this country so beautiful.
