I love the outdoors, specifically the National Forests and Wilderness areas in the United States. This year alone I have had the privilege to visit the forests surrounding North Cascades National Park and the ones surrounding the Sawtooth Wilderness. I find peace and solitude when I am in these places. What I also find are people, like me and not like me, who are out enjoying the same lands. Despite our beliefs and backgrounds whenever I meet someone in these places we always bond over the beauty and natural wonder we are witnessing. These are special places. The Forest Service should keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is. It was created upon bipartisanship and should not be rescinded when the overwhelming amount of public comments and to keep it in place. These are public lands and our representatives are meant to represent us, their constituents, not big business or the President. Listen to the people, keep the Roadless Rule intact exactly as it is.
