The comment

Shaded passages are the ones the analysis quoted as evidence for a dimension: Legal

I support Alternative 1 - No Action: please retain the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule. I grew up in Rolla MO and my father was the MO State geologist, I spent my childhood with my parents hiking, tent camping, canoeing, and now as an adult horseback riding in southern Missouri. Mark Twain national forest always provided the quiet and solitude and escape from the demands of a 36 yr. career in speciality nursing, no bells, no alarms, and no jarring disasters. I am an active member of the Backcountry Horsemen of MO tornado ridge chapter and when living in AZ for 15 yrs. was an AZ Trail Steward, passage 40, & 40 B of the AZ National Scenic Trail and rode the entire trail, 800 mi. twice horseback. I also have done mounted search and rescue. The wilderness and roadless areas are critical to our watershed, wildlife habitat and for those who hunt and fish, also to be able to see areas undisturbed by mechanization. I've heard ravens wings over my head, laughed out loud at a squirrels antics, and my horse allowing me to see wildlife up close undisturbed is priceless. This is a hobby my daughter who is also a nurse in ER share, we can ride and not say a word just soaking up the quiet. Also, where is the money and employees coming from to maintain this new roads system ? Please continue to protect our public lands and thank you for all the Backcountry work that has been done.
