I strongly oppose the proposed repeal of the 2001 Roadless Rule.
It's time for West Virginia to plan for an economic future that revolves around one of their greatest assets; their large uninterrupted wild spaces. What is not needed is increased logging and fragmentation of ecosystems required by many, many species for their survival. When they're gone they're gone. Try recreation and tourism a little more, and extraction a lot less. Monongahela National Forest needs to be left alone, to heal after being clearcut and repeatedly logged.
Sincerely,
Michael Blackburn
