Comment in Opposition to the Proposed Rescission of the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule Special Areas; Roadless Area Conservation, 91 Fed. Reg. 53827 (Aug. 20, 2026); RIN 0596-AD66; Docket FS-2025-0001, including the Draft EIS (DEIS) I urge the Department to withdraw the proposed rule and select Alternative 1 (No Action). The Department's own proposal and DEIS do not show that rescission would meaningfully reduce wildfire risk, and they document harm to species, water, and old forest. Secondly this seems like a Full research attatched.
