The comment

As you consider a repeal of the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule, I respectfully ask that you consider the attached letter from seventy hunting and angling outfitters, gear manufacturers, and media companies regarding the importance of maintaining strong conservation safeguards for roadless areas within our national forests. As a brand whose work and community are deeply connected to public lands, we stand alongside outfitters, manufacturers, and industry partners in emphasizing the critical role that roadless areas play in sustaining high-quality hunting and fishing opportunities across the country. We appreciate your consideration of the perspectives outlined in the attached letter and the collective voice of the many businesses represented. Roadless areas are essential to not only fish and big game, but also the livelihoods and traditions of those who depend on access to healthy, intact public lands. Sincerely, Mark Kenyon Director of Conservation at MeatEater
