The comment

The reasons stated in the attached files (20261006_McNamara_FS-2025-0001-223869_Opposition.pdf and 20261006_McNamara_FS-2025-0001-223869_Opposition.docx) address why partially or completely rescinding the Roadless Rule does not achieve the objectives proposed and why this action would – in fact – reduce public safety, waste taxpayer dollars, and be a net decrease in benefits to the American public. As an avid sportsperson, off-road recreational vehicle user, hiker, and citizen impacted seasonally by Colorado’s fires (that regularly creep into the wildland-urban interface), I state my opposition to any attempt to rescind – fully or partially – the roadless rule for any reason, including the fully unsubstantiated claims addressed above.
